test

This is a load of text about things and I don’t really know what to say or how to type lorem ipsum.

  • Yay, finally reached the £5 threshold to see the bonus draw 🥳

Thanks pollfish - the first one that I've successfully been able to complete 😂. I don't like the other ones as they always seem to want access to data on my phone - or am I being over cautious?

    • Ah well Barrie, I wouldn’t put anything past Cint. 😖

    • I have had cint asking for personal information.

    • Just to confirm it didn't want email or phone number. It seemed to do with data on my phone but I promise if I see it again I'll report back which one it was and what it was asking for 😊

    • Only one survey wants all personal info, it's called the Census. Completed & submitted mine online & got a confirmation number on the date requested, but still got a guy knocking my door yesterday to remind me there's a £1,000 fine for not doing it.

      The Govt couldn't arrange a P-up in a brewery.

    • Well Done Mirree. 🥳

I’ve been on for 8 years and like LeeLee I’ve never given personally identifiable info.🤐

    • It’s probably worth starting the survey and see where it’s going. You can always abort it and report it using the link on the survey invitation box. The surveys on here are generally meant to be anonymous and there should be no requirement to provide a phone number or email. If they ask this, there’s a box on the report form to let Admin know.

I’m wondering if the T&Cs are a copy/paste job from the Survey Company’s main site and aren’t really applicable on here?

Just to confirm, I must have completed several hundred surveys on here ( over the years) and have never given a phone number or email address. 🙃

    • It's usually in the terms and conditions of the other ones. They want location and access to other information. Will make a better note of what exactly when I have time to look at another and will let you know!

    • Well done Mirree. 😊

I never get Pollfish surveys, however I do get dozens of others - I don’t ever recall being asked for phone details. I’d never supply a phone number or any means to personally identify myself. Were those surveys offered through the official Survey companies on here? Seems very odd. 🙃

    • Well done!!

    • Congratulations, Mirree - good luck, keep going and you’ll soon get to the next bonus targets 🤞!

      LLAP 🖖!

  • Yeeeeaaaaa refer a friend and win upto £200! Or just get 3p 😂😂😂😂👍👌👊🏻

    • Hate jellied ells, love rollmops, I will eat "rock eel/salmon" (dog/catfish) & chips, ... but never knowingly encountered fermented fish except on the quayside - seagulls wouldn't touch it either (not sure I'd want to, but I'll try anything once or twice).

    • When I was a kid I chewed a stink bomb thinking it was some sort of sweetie. I still remember the smell (and taste) 🤢

@Enver have you tried Surströmming? I've always wanted to try it but I'm too scared 😞

    • @Barrie, no, but I have smelled a rotten egg and that was awful.😝

    • @Trekker22 - Any mention of being slapped in the face with a wet fish makes me think of the very same sketch.

    • Surströmming, fermented herring, is a famous traditional Swedish dish. Never has rotten fish smelled so bad but tasted so good, ... they sell it in cans for the smorgasbord..

      or was it jellied eel?

    • @AnthonyLewis - Have you ever smelled a fish that isn't fresh?

    • Just don’t stand too close to the edge of a canal…?🐟!

      LLAP 🖖!

    • @Barrie, so you don't mind being slapped around the face with a wet fish just so long as it's fresh ? 🤔😄

    • I hope that the fish if fresh.

    • Or a slap around the face with a wet fish 🐟

    • Better than a kick up the bum. 😆

  • I just had a survey asking if I'd booked a holiday through a travel website. I answered No but TBH I'm not sure because I've previously booked a few days break using Groupon.

Would you have answered Yes or No?

    • Groupon still exist? I had an account and used to get emailed offers but they stopped years ago and I just assumed they went bust. Oops

    • Two in my favour & one against then.

The reason I wasn't sure is because occasionally i get Groupon offers that are only for short holidays.

    • I don't think I'd class Groupon as a travel website as such. I'd think more of something like Booking.com, Hotels.com, LastMinute, LonelyPlanet, Trivago, Expedia, or one of the directly owned ones like Tui or Jet2.

To me, Groupon and Vouchercodes are reward and incentive sites rather than online travel agents.

    • Hi Barrie…. I’ve used groupon a few times, mostly for breaks in London, and they usually give you a booking ref. Number which you then use on the actual hotel/travel site to make the booking, so I would’ve answered “yes” to the question..

      LLAP 🖖!

    • I'd have answered 'No', because I haven't booked a holiday through a travel website...

      HTH! 😉😁

  • A new one to me for saving on fuel - Red Bull

Does it give your car wings I wonder?

    • I started getting that one too. Good, I needed something to help flush the toothpaste and ketchup through.

    • Kind of ironic when you think about how much fuel a Red Bull F1 car must guzzle through.

    • Red Bull just gives me wind. Nothing wrong with being a pensioner. I have been one for 16+ years now and loving every minute of it.

Don't know how I ever found time for work though.

    • I think you mean 'wiings'. Red Bull certainly gives me wiings, but then I'm a pensioner 😟

  • Sometimes Haiku verse

makes no sense at all to me.

    Pass me that herring.

    • @Lol 63 - yes a herring is more fitting but to my daughter a pizza is always the correct answer to any of life's problems 😄

    • @AnthonyLewis - Good response by your daughter!

I'd also prefer pizza to herring, but felt that the herring had a more surreal feel. It is after all the answer to "how many surrealists does it take to change a light bulb?"

    • @Lol 63 , I showed your haiku to my daughter and she replied with ...

      Wot a larf that was!

      I don't want a herring though,

      Pass me that pizza

    • In 1975 one of our 3 computer lecturers at college wrote a program in Basic to generate random Haikus. Quite amusing the things it came out with.

    • Rofl

      I love making up haiku

      But yours is the best

      😂😂😂

    • 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  • Earlier in the evening ( Wednesday, that is ) just as I was attempting to check the mini draw, everything went wacky, after giving my old iPad a good shake teeth clenched.

I got a pici of a large PMP mug and a message to say there was a problem and I should go and have a cuppa & come back later.

I've never seen that before, just wondering if it's new or has anyone else seen it ? 🤔

    • Oo! er! Barrie, that sounds painful. 😩 Be careful or you could end up like Lopsided 6 😳

      Tweek Yes! Miraculous healing powers.😋

    • @Tweek - Oi! That's mine!

    • @Flower🌺 KitKats solve everything 👍

      @Barrie Naughty step! 👈😆

    • @Tweek - Bang it against the side like everyone else.

    • Thanks all, I enjoyed all your replies, especially the cheeky ones. 😀 It was, as Enver said a temporary glitch & a good shake, Etch-a-Sketch not withstanding, was totally ineffective ☹️ So I took the proffered advice and had a cuppa & a KitKat, well it just sort of insisted. 🍫

However when I came back later (& left the comment) it was fine. 👍

    • Aww not again 😌

    • @Tweek - Naughty step!

    • @lol63 😆Does the phrase "any more than two shakes and you're playing with it" still count when it's an Etch-a-Sketch?

    • @Tweek, @Lol 63

      😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

    • I think you'll find that if a good shake resets everything that you've been swindled. That's not an iPad, it's an Etch-a-Sketch.

    • Got it several times when site had problems, last was few weeks ago. It's been on ages , just have to come back later);-

    • I've seen it a couple of times in the past but not this year.

    • We are not aware of any issues on our end. Please try a Hard Refresh on your iPad. A Hard Refresh will clear the cache in your Safari app and force it to load the most recent version of our site. Please Google "How do to a hard refresh on an iPad ... (insert the model of your iPad here) Safari"

    • Don't shake your iPad too hard or you'll jumble up everyone's postcodes 🙉

    • Always happens when the site goes down/doesn't connect, which is quite rare, apart from the few days in early December last year.

  • Can't say I've ever seen a postcode come up in the Highlands of Scotland yet

    • @Hans Niece Ann Bumpsadaisy - Great nickname!

    • @Sharon M - As said, you've missed plenty or just joined. NB Only registered members are in the draws, not the entire UK, and results purely reflect membership.

    • Yes, not common, but plenty unless you only joined last week ?

    • I reckon about 50 Highlands postcodes January to date. Not bad for a generally sparsely populated area. Are you sure you’re catching all 9 daily draws?

Only registered postcodes can be seen as winners. 😊

    • Aberdeen is in the Stackpot just now. Shetland and Orkney both won just in the last week. Nairn and Invergordon the week before that. Are you sure you are checking properly? Also remember that area is very sparsely populated and sheep aren't allowed to enter 🙂

    • https://pickmypostcode.com/winners-map/ will show you all those who have claimed in your area.

https://pickmypostcode.com/past-winners/ will show you all that have been drawn since the site started. Just put in a partial postcode and check across the five tabs.

  • I don't know them but I often walk past one of today's stackpot winners house (assuming that they use there own postcode).

  • Anyone noticed the surveys have been a bit 'light' these last couple of days, or is it just me?

    • I missed the " \ ". ☹

    • I also think that , especially when someone tries to be smart and types 'is there was anyone' :)

    • @A Nick Name - If someone asked me that question I would ask are you the village idiot, is there was anyone intelligent in this place?

    • @Tweek - You're La-di-dah. I wasn't picturing chamber pots!

    • @Barrie. Obviously not had a job interview in a while. Idiot interviewers these days ask questions like "if you were a sausage, what sort of sausage would you be". Luckily I no longer need interviews or I'd be telling them where the sausages should be put. I remember the days when they wanted to know if you could actually do the work. That's going back many years though.

    • @әա 𝖽ɿәʮ 😂 How dare you. I'll have you know I live in a classy area. We stopped emptying our chamber pots out the window back in the 90's.

@Lol63 no one sees you from the shoulders down anyway. You just need to keep a bucket next to your desk and be quick with the mute button.

    • @Tweek - I think even when working from home, a genuine bout of uncontrollable screaming squitters would qualify for a day off.

Wouldn't look or sound good on a Zoom call.

    • "diarrhoea go out the window" Euw! Tweek, where do you live? 1322? 🙈🤢

    • No it wasn't a problem, Chris offered and I declined. I wanted to have something else to think about but he asked me to let him know if I get worse. He told me 'if you're sick, you're sick.' He even offered to put a notice up that the person paying the winning claimants has Covid so winnings would be paid when I am better. But I didn't want to just rest and feel sorry for myself. I would be thinking about the emails and work building up while I was sick and that wouldn't be restful. I'll be better soon I am sure.

    • That's the problem with working from home - you can't phone in sick as easily. All the old classic excuses like broken legs and diarrhoea go out the window.

    • Please don't feel bad Titchy. Chris asked me if I needed to take sick time but I would much rather work than lie on my sofa feeling sorry for myself. The Covid fatigue has lessened a bit today which is good but my cough is painful. But that will go in time and I am muddling through ok. Thanks for asking.

Everyone please don't feel like you can't email if you need to.

    • Em,

thank you very much for adding my missing bonus earlier this week. Immediately after sending my email to you (PMP) I then read that you were feeling unwell, and felt bad about troubling you. As usual, your response was amazingly quick. Hope you're feeling much better by now.

    • Having recently tried a few & not done any surveys for over 18 months, noted my Quality Score was reset to 100. ... Just saying.

    • My quality score was 254, then came the ban (wrongly accused of using an adblocker/ VPN) and whilst the account was reinstated after a couple of days, it had dropped to 127.

    • @LeeLee - It may not be a lifetime ban. I got banned for answering their "What super hero would you like to be"? with "What sort of idiot is asking childish questions?" but have been allowed access since.

On another site yesterday I had a Samplico survey hijacked by Cint & noticed that my "score" had dropped to 98.

    • As per my post above - I had raised a “ticket” with Cint re my “blocked from all surveys” message , which I received 10/12 times over the last week. The report section asked for details about why I was raising the ticket.

I’ve just received an email from Zendesk customer service. They include a copy of my detailed report, then ask why I’m contacting them and they would like me to tell them what the problem is. 🤨

I’ve replied, telling them that the problem appears to be theirs - they blocked me….and they haven’t read my report.

Do you think a lifetime ban is looming? 😆

    • Just a quick update on the above: I have had more surveys in the last 30 minutes than I have in the last two days (lol)! A few screenouts, but at least they were there.

    • Thanks for that info, Emma. It probably depends what shift I am on as to the number of surveys I manage to access.

As for the Pollfish surveys: I used to get those too but not seen any for months and months now.

      Good luck everyone!

    • @Bolanchild - very light here as well. Just 2 completed in last 24 hours.

@ LeeLee - in agreement with your comments about Cint.

      @ Getting there….- haven’t seen a Pollfish this year!

    • Pollfish!.......did someone say Pollfish?. I've not had a Pollfish survey this year!

    • @Bolanchild - very light here, however have been offered around 10 from Cint which all immediately go to a page telling me my quality score is “good” but I’m blocked from all surveys.

Have reported them all and raised a “ticket” with Cint a few days back. I think another couple of members reported the same thing.

Not too bothered as Cint are usually very poor for me anyway. 😌

Oh, and I did get my first Pollfish survey in 3 weeks. However it was for people working as security alarm fitters. 😊

    • I have still been getting a regular amount of emails about surveys and adding Screen Out Bonuses or the full amounts as appropriate. So our emails have not gone quieter/lighter about them. Maybe you have been working hard on surveys and run through all their stock. Couldn't say for sure of course, I can't access their systems.

  • Just to let you all know that the Facebook Moderation Tool is currently down so I am unable to reply to any queries on Win A Dinner or Freemoji Lottery comments as quickly. I can't see any of the Facebook Plugin comments on Win A Dinner, but I have been able to comment on the Freemoji comment section explaining that members should email their queries instead of using the comments section.

Just to let you know that more people than usual may find that the comments are not loading on WAD and FML.

If you have any queries regarding these sites, please email us: admin@winadinner.com / admin@freemojilottery.com. Thank you : )

    • I wouldn't upload my documents or give them the time of day after they kicked me off twice months apart saying my real name was reported as Fake by an unknown person! ... Can't see anything to do with FB for years without suitable uploads, no great loss..

  • I would like to say a GREAT BIG THANKYOU to everyone at PMP. I was a bit late checking the draws last night and totally shocked to see my postcode on the Bonus draw. With a healthy bonus to add I thought Iwas dreaming. Money in my account this morning. Thanks again.

    • Nice one tetleyt. 😄

    • Time for a celebratory dance…..”Waltz” anyone?😄

      Enjoy your win Matilda!

      🥳🥳🥳

    • Well done!!

    • Congratulations, Matilda17👏👏👍!

      LLAP 🖖!

    • 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

    • Good thing you did eventually check & any neighbours hadn't taken it yet, Well Done & Congrats! 🎉✅

🥳🎈 May I join you on the next waltz?👯‍♂️

    • Congratz Matilda.

    • You are very welcome Matilda : )

    • Great news, congrats !

    • Well done matilda, lovely surprise.

    • Congratulations matilda17. 👏👍

    • Great feeling, isn't it. Best kind of shock to get.

  • Woohoo actually seen B34, not mine but hey next one could be, keep smiling 😁😁😁😁😁😁

  • Can anyone tell me do you get your survey money only if you will apostcode

    • Wibble...

    • Comfortably numb. I am actually leaving my neighbours postcode in my will, along with my own house. I don't like the neighbour so he'll get a right surprise when he finds someone else has got his postcode.

    • Here's another FAQ article about it:

      https://help.pickmypostcode.com/article/23-what-is-the-bonus-all-about

    • The Royal Mail owns the postcodes, you can't leave it in your will, or your Bonus.

Bonus is a bonus paid on top when you win on any of the 9 daily postcode draws and isn't reset when you do. See the FAQs for details...

      https://help.pickmypostcode.com/category/17-bonus

  • Oh dear, I'm 666 on the Leaderboard!

    Should I be worried? 😲

    • @Jack Iron Maiden! 🤘

    • Woe to you o'er Earth and Sea

For the devil sends the beast with wrath

Because he knows the time is short

Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast

For it is a human number

Its number is Six Hundred and Sixty Six

666 the number of the beast

Hell and fire was spawned to be released

666 the number of the beast

666 the one for you and me !

    • @BayHorse - Those typos are a devil aren't they? 6️⃣😈6️⃣

    • No, because 666 is a pretty harmless number. 616, however...

    • Didn't know Downing St had a 666, don't think it has any hanging baskets? I know it is a close that has no hedges so's you can see how embarassed partying MP"s are.

    • You may very well get back to 666, Malc_H!!!!

    • You’d have been OK if you were at 667 - that’s the neighbour of the Beast (or 668 if odd & even are on different sides of the road…).

      LLAP 🖖!

    • Panic over. I'm 660 now. Whew!🤓

    • The devil's in the detail, Malc_H 😈

    • Be afraid, be very afraid (lol)!!

  • HAPPY 96TH BIRTHDAY HRH QUEEN ELIZABETH II

    GOD BLESS YOU MA'AM

    🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

    • Headlines "Stampede as Royal Dinners Fly to PMP" 🧲

      📱📲 .🚪.. 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️🐕🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️)))... 🍽 🍽 🍽📵 🍽 🍽 🍽 🍽 🤴🏼💭❓

    • When that postcode comes up on the £100 Mini Draw, who will get there first? Will there be a panic in the Royal Household as everyone races for their devices? Will the Queen’s corgi win? 🐶

    • There's 52 registered with SW1A 1AA now, one for every week of the year, guess she's been doing a few referrals., or maybe a condition of service?

      BTW She's at Sandringham today.

    • Think Buck Palace is SW1A 1AA which has won twice. Lizzy probably blew the winnings on a nag down at the bookies.

    • @Alley1940 - Apparently Philip used to call her "Cabbage."

Not sure if anybody would have got away with that along the line after the Royal Variety Performance.

    • I'm sure I heard somewhere that Buck House did win.

      @Titchy - The Queen's nickname is Lillibet.

    • Really.....?

    • Buck House postcode SW1 1AA has 3 registered members.....but no wins yet

    • Yes, Titchy, especially if it was a thank you to the team for their postcode winnings!!!

    • Happy Birthday, Lizzie, and long may you reign. Of course I'm convinced she will read this as I'm equally sure she is a member.

Wouldn't we all get a shock if there was a reply from Windsor!

    • Good idea, Em!!

    • I live in Southampton, not too far from the docks and apparently early this morning the ships all sounded their horns in celebration. I wouldn't know, I slept right through it. I just saw my neighbours complain about it on our neighbourhood Facebook group.

I will suggest to my colleagues that perhaps we should do something on our site to mark the Jubilee in June. Bit too last minute to do anything today.

    • 👑 Another good few years in her yet. We'd all do very well to achieve her age in fairly good health. Congratulations your Majesty Lillibet!

  • Sad I’ve still not won anything :(

    • Congratz anon.

I hope you get bonus' from the family joining up.

    • I've been doing this for a long time but dip in and out. Only thing I've ever won was £7.52 on the Euro Lottery many years ago. A couple of weeks ago I won £100. I was in complete shock. Needless to say my family have all finally signed up to this. Keep playing, it really is worth it

    • Tweek, they are probably all different Anonymous accounts. :)

    • @Em just a thought but what happens if Anonymous wins 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Referral comp? 🤭

    • Please do remember this is a lottery, you're best to hope you'll win, not expect to! :)

    • I haven't won on Euromillions either Maria & that has cost me money whereas PMP has cost me nothing & reading comments is often amusing.

      Keep checking.

    • Agreed - but perhaps one day. Just be patient.

  • Is this legit as I’ve won nothing! 😟

    • I have never won but I enjoy pmp and the read the conversations makes my day!! Good luck too all!!

    • Each member’s entry has the exact same chance of being selected in a draw.  If one postcode is entered more than once it is more likely to be selected (like names in a hat).  If a certain postcode area (eg. BA1) appears to not win often that is because there aren't many entries for that area. If a postcode area seems to win more often it must mean that there are more entries from that postcode area.

You can look up how many entries there are from a postcode here: https://pickmypostcode.com/entries-search/

You can also look up past winning postcodes (or partial postcodes) here: https://pickmypostcode.com/past-winners/

You can check winners in your area here: https://pickmypostcode.com/winners-map/

You should find the ratio between entries and winners is roughly the same for different postcodes/areas.

There is no geographical bias in the selection procedure. The computer doesn't know (or care) where anyone lives!

(For our Scottish players - Scotland has about 8% of the U.K population and accounts for about 8% of our winning postcodes!)

Lastly, please do remember this is a lottery, you're best to hope you'll win, not expect to! :)

    • Bolanchild 7, in answer to your question.

    • Congrats on your win 👍👍

    • Not to mention more than £1.5 million that has already been paid out.

Macca78, read the information on the site. It's all there if you bother to look!

    • I have not ever won either but still enjoy using the site, and you never know, one day..........

    • I've not won either, so there's your proof.

    • Really................how many more people are going to doubt the validity of this great site???

    • @ruby it's not even a similar issue your issue was not getting paid the bonus from a survey. Read the instructions and the reply to your comment earlier.

    • no its not legit. I have faced similar issue, even for bonus as its not a draw so that cannot be excused for random winning.

    • Yes 🙂 Thousand of people have won. It's random not guaranteed. Have a read of the FAQ for details https://help.pickmypostcode.com/category/4-general

  • Just 52p to go to reach the 800pound bonus. Maybe I'll get some screenouts later today.

Had a pleasant three hours in Cambridge yesterday, apart from TK Max and Pandora. We picked up the A1M and the M25 coming home. As we made good time the driver decided to leave the M25 and have a scenic tour through Wraysbury, Old Windsor, Windsor Great Park, Ascot before joining the M3. That little detour was enjoyable as they were my old haunts from I used to live in Bracknell..Got the feeder from Winchester. Tried booking a taxi from my preferred company for 7pm to take us from Havant to home but they had nothing available for two hours. Got hold of another company who are more expensive and charge extra for bank holiday. Got home at 7.15pm. A really great weekend with some lovely people.

    • Not my needs at all. 😈

      We understand perfectly Em.

    • Like it, Emma!

    • Barrie, ... "no" ... how's that?

Meet your requirements? Wait ... no, scratch 'requirements' ... change to 'Meet your needs?'

      : D Hehehe

(Don't worry everyone else, Barrie knows I like to have a laugh by now. Least I hope he does!)

    • Could you use words of one syllable & type slower Em.

      Maybe that would help. 😄

    • Sometimes you'll be screened out of a survey because you do not meet the demographic requirements. Sometimes you will be screened out due to the answers that you gave on previous surveys where the external, third party company's system knows what demographic bracket you fit into from past answers and knows that you are not eligible for that survey. However, their system is not supposed to show you surveys which you are not eligible to complete but sadly their level of technology is not always at the level that we here at PMP or you our members would wish it to be. Sorry about that.

You should get 5p added to your bonus when this happens. (Please wait 72 hours for this to be added).

The bonus on your account is called this because it is an added bonus to winning. You will receive your bonus when your postcode is randomly selected as a winner by our system and you click the Claim button. (Because winning is not an automatic process) You will then be sent the prize pot, or a share of the pot if the draw is a shared one, plus your bonus via PayPal.

    • Bro @LeeLee whatever happened I explained and I don't want to do that again please can you please stop making same comments. I have apologised to peop in case u didn't check my previous response. I realise this is a free lottery u don't need to tell me in a mean way.

    • Ruby, you’ve made a post below accusing the site of being a fake, now you’re calling it a scam. You must expect some kind of negative response from the many members who know this is a genuine and trustworthy site.

In your post below you say you’ve been here a year but don’t know how the site works and can’t understand why you haven’t won. I’m wondering if you realise this is a free lottery?

    • @Ruby it might be going into their Spam folder. You can try forwarding it to their sister site Win a Dinner (admin@winadinner.com) and they'll forward it on direct.

    • @Janet I have sent another email. For the previous one I have received an automated response too.

    • I did send an email today. No problem I'll send again.

    • Hi Ruby, could you please email us at admin@pickmypostcode.com? We haven't received any emails from you yet. Thank you!

    • Bro @tweek I don't understand what's ur issue. I didn't say anything to you or your personal "ID". I never asked a question to anyone in a bad way. I only posted my thought about the issues I faced on the "website" nothing to humiliate any person. If you think I was mean to you I'm sorry but if u guys look at your responses u'll know that u were being rude to me on something I didn't even say to you.

If I would have a doubt or require help I will "ask" in a polite way. I hope you understand the difference btw "asking for help to someone(other users)" or "posting a thought or issue for the website not users"

Don't take things wrong way being judgmental about someone's wording it's possible that's not in a way u r thinking.don't mind my English is not so good so unintentionally it might have come out to you differently.

    • We all know how to talk to people in a polite way, ruby. The way you worded your issues may have been misread by some. We are a great, friendly and helpful community on this site, and I myself have sought and received answers from people only too willing to help. Stick with it and it will all turn out fine.

    • @ruby I told you everything needed to help you 🙂 You were the one going around posting how think this is scam. If you need help just ask politely like a normal person. Stomping around throwing insults only gets people's hackles up. That's what Twitter is for.

    • But Ruby, you called this site a scam which is patently untrue. What do you expect?

    • Thanks @Bolanchild. I have sent an email to admin and will reply as soon as I receive a response but if I don't I will post what issue I am facing is that wrong. If I posted my thought, opinions or current issue what is the matter with other people taking it on themselves in a mean way. Atleast someone here knows how to talk to people unlike other fellows like @tweek.

    • I think you may actually have some technical issue going on somewhere, ruby. Trust me, this site is not a scam at all. If it was I for one would not waste my time on it. The Admin people are brilliant and really polite and I would suggest dropping them an email with your issues. They will sort it out for you without any fuss. Here's hoping you get sorted and possibly have a win with your postcode in the near future. Good luck!

    • There's no need to go stomping around accusing it of being a scam. You do get 5p for screened out if it says (most surveys do, but not all). If it says you do and you aren't then it's a technical issue. The instructions/FAQ give advice about checking for basic reasons for why the bonus might not be tracking and if still having problems advises contacting Admin at admin@pickmypostcode.com

    • So why do i get a survey for bonus for which i receive a msg that i will get 5p even if i don't qualify for the survey? Please don't try to teach me as if i came here without looking at anything @Tweek i am not throwing toys. I have gone through the instruction.

    • @Ruby try reading the instructions rather than sulking and throwing your toys about. If you are really never getting paid the bonus from surveys and it's not due to being screened out then clearly you have a technical issue. Have you contacted Admin about it?

      https://help.pickmypostcode.com/article/89-surveys

    • @Ruby j Rose. The bonus is only paid out if your postcode wins. See the FAQs https://help.pickmypostcode.com/article/23-what-is-the-bonus-all-about.

    • i tried bonus several times, it doesn't pay anything even after displaying notification it will. I have proof, i have done many surveys and waited for days that maybe it will take time to show but not a single penny. I could have uploaded proof here if there was an option to do so. Nothing can be uploaded here. This is unfair to promote scam and if not then could this act be justified.

    • Brilliant Shyboy, you'll soon be up there with the big boys. 🍾

Good luck for a nice win, sometime soon. 🍀

    • More congratulations Shyboy plus a hope that you win to pay for your next trip. 😄

    • Hope you get a win, Shyboy! 🤞🤞🤞

    • One survey, one screenout and one issue. I've now got 800 pounds and 19 pence bonus. It doesn't seem that long ago I was getting the 700 congrats from Enver, Barrie, CN, Titchy and all of you lovely people.

    • 🤞🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🤞

    • Good luck, Shyboy.

  • If I had a dog I would call it Minton..

So when it misbehaves I will say Bad Minton

    • I call mine Handyman because he does little jobs around the house.

I call the one with no legs Woodbine because I take him out for a drag.

The one with no nose is called Stinker. (See the earlier posts "Great Dad Jokes Ruined")

    • 😆😆

    • My biggest mistake was naming our dog 'Shark' and then taking him for a walk along the beach.

    • I'd call mine Einstein because it would be a boney fido genius.

    • I'd call mine goodboy. And my Indian spitz goa way.

    • 😄

    • I recently planted a pet tree…..it’s like having a pet dog except…

      The bark is much quieter.

    • 😁

    • Like it!!!

  • Oooh, one there in the bonus draw. Measured the crow flies distance on Google maps, it's 1920 feet from me!

Close but still no cigar. Not really a problem, I don't smoke cigars.

    • My Latvian friend is learning more English, told him to ask for "Snout" when buying his tobacco🚬, he asked the assistant if she had a large snout👃🏼 & she said "Don't be cheeky, what do you want?" 😂😆🤣

      Lost in translation?

  • Walks in

    Posts a message

    Upsets septic fans

    Drops mic

    Walks out smiling

    🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

    • Wonder if she sold any of the magic water butts?

    • I still don't understand whatever she's rattling on about.

    • May be a friend of Liz? Isn’t she something to do with septic tanks? 😉

    • @Lol 63 Get it! Don't know why OP bothering then because no one is upset as it happens, simply totally disinterested.

      🥱 😴🥱 😴

    • @CS - Septic is what happens if you try to type Celtic with Auto-correct turned on!

Given the poster's intentions, strangely apt.

    • Heard of septic tanks but not septic fans 🤔 Were you commenting on the thread below? If so you need to use the reply link rather than start a new one ↘️↘️↘️

  • Can anyone tell me how Rangers and Celtic got on in Europe last night 🤔🤔🤔🤔😂😂😂😂😂😂

    • 😂

    • It's a gift.

    • @TetleyT - If so, then Fail. It's just got me and Barrie talking balls. (Doesn't take much, admittedly.)

    • Do you think Bobby Latham is trying to incite Football fans? 😳

    • @Lol 63 - Thanks for confirming the only thing I actually understood.

    • Google says - 5 hours ago — Rangers lose 2-1 to Celtic at Ibrox, but then they beat Braga and achieve their greatest European feat in 14 years.

    • @Barrie - Europe is that continent on the other side of the Channel.

    • No idea what you're talking about.

  • The Secret Service is doing well today -one on the Video Draw and one on the Bonus Draw. (15/04/22)

    • But don't get caught wearing one of their uniforms.

(Thinking about it, that might be a different SS.)

  • I had a very interesting call today. Some company asking for me by name, clarifying if I lived at the address they gave me, my electric co, paid by direct debit etc. I accepted everything they said and agreed, and twenty minutes later was asked why I was wasting their time when I said I'd have to contact the bank if money is being taken by direct debit every month. And all because I then said the person they'd asked for initially doesn't exist. Yes, it's my name but only in the sense that I use it for people who may try to scam me. What I don't understand is, if the person I made up is paying the gas and electric at my address as their database shows, why am I also getting bills?

    • 🤣

    • @LeeLee No some scam company trying to pretend they could save me money on my direct debit utility payments. They wouldn't save me as my bills are much lower than they quoted, but they could save my nonexistent friend. I'll let you know when his bills arrive, if he'll let me see them, although we don't talk much.

    • Why were they calling you? I’m now assuming that this wasn’t your electricity provider?

    • Many people were phoned or visited years ago by Scottish Power when Co's were asking them to switch. Although most refused, Scottish Power had their details & they suddenly recieved two bills for each power, both Co's saying "You're with us & you have to pay". Didn't last long as people on benefits couldn't pay twice & they were eventually dragged through the courts for non-payment.

    • More to the point how did they link that person, your phone number & your address.

Somewhere along the line your security slipped sideways.

  • Is it worth doing extra surveys on here? I don't bother any more, because I used to add to my bonus to add more, but after earning a tenner not long after I had joined and earned bonuses THEN, I haven't seen anything like my postcode again! I reckon i would only have a chance if a new neighbour of mine thought it a good idea to join. Am I wrong thinking this way?

    • @Tweek, thank you for confirming that. We are only allowed one membership aren't we? I guess I have a membership number, but I can't see it anywhere...

    • @Pennie it has always been membership numbers to select winners 🙂 I think most of these types of lotteries use the same system. The postcode just acts as a sort of raffle ticket.

    • Malc H

"Yep. It's membership numbers that are drawn, not postcodes, and your number is entered into every draw every time, unless you allow it to become inactive by not checking for a week."

I thought it was postcodes that were drawn. When did that change to membership numbers?

    • You never know! I had a lucky stackpot win early on, and when I searched previous winners, my postcode had come up a few years earlier (before I lived there), so can definitely hit in the same place more than once. Infact I even saw the same postcode appear twice in the space of a week (caught my eye as is only minutes from the house I grew up in) and many others have reported winning more than once.

For that reason I put a bit more effort into building my bonus and just keep my fingers crossed!

Whatever you decide to do, I hope you are lucky! 🍀💸🤞🏼

    • It’s entirely your choice - none of us know if or when we’ll win, but if we do, it would be disappointing not to have a decent bonus? If the member at the top of the leaderboard wins a tenner, he’ll also get £5126.17 bonus.

The bonus never resets and continues to grow for future wins.

As Malc says, we all have the exact same chance of winning as we each have an individual entry. The draws aren’t geographical.

    • Yep. It's membership numbers that are drawn, not postcodes, and your number is entered into every draw every time, unless you allow it to become inactive by not checking for a week.

Of course, if you get your neighbours to sign up you will have more chances to share any wins.

It's all explained in the FAQ section.
